Before I started using my Logitech Harmony One universal remote, I had five different remotes for my entertainment center. What was worse was that my kids and my wife were simply dumbfounded when it came to changing from the satellite box to the PS3 or any other component. You can only tell someone how to do a three-step process so many times before you get irritated.

Thankfully, after the Harmony One landed in my hands I was able to shed all those remotes and use only the One for the most part. I still needed my PS3 controller or the Blu-ray remote to control my PS3 for watching movies, which was a pain. Recently Logitech announced a new adapter called the Harmony Adapter for PS3 that answered my wishes for one remote to rule them all in my home theater. If you buy a typical wireless notebook mouse today, the USB adapter the thing needs can be about the size of a traditional pack of gum. That’s not so bad if you are working form a desktop that you never move, but if you are working form a notebook that you carry around the chances of breaking that big dongle are good.

A while back Logitech introduced a VX Nano cordless mouse with a tiny USB dongle to prevent damage. Verbatim has now unveiled a very similar wireless mouse called the Nano Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. The mouse has a tiny USB dongle that only protrudes from the notebook a few millimeters.

When the Watchmen movie came out a few months ago, I rushed to the theater to see it. After watching a few minutes of blue wanger flapping around on screen I decided that the film wasn’t for me. Warner Brothers has announced a new hybrid offering for the PS3. A single disc will offer fans of the franchise the Watchmen film and the Watchmen: The End is Neigh video game based on the film. The film itself will be a HD Blu-ray title.

Digital photo frames are great little gadgets that let you show off all those digital pictures you take without having to print them all out and find normal frames for them. With a digital frame you can put hundreds of photos on one frame. This sort of gadget also makes a great gift for dads to show off at the office.

Samsung has announced a new digital photo frame with an ultra thin design featuring the company’s Touch of Color design. The frame has a screen depth of 23mm, which is under an inch thick, and sports 1GB of internal memory.

I always wanted to go to E3 when it was a monster event with all the games and girls you could shake a controller at. In 2007, I finally got a chance to go and that was the first year of the much smaller show. It sucked and I was disappointed. This year E3 is supposed to be big again, wish I could go.

Panasonic has delivered the HDC-SD10 and HDC-TM10 camcorders, which weigh less than 230g. And so they are being touted as the lightest camcorders with full high-definition capabilities. At least until someone beats them with something even lighter.

They’ll record 1080p video in AVCHD format and boast 16x optical zoom and Advanced O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) technology. Both record to SD/SDHC memory cards, but the HDC-TM10 also comes with 8GB of onboard storage capacity.

Behold. A fashion phone so awesome in it’s fashion-i-ness that it must be handled with a glove at all times. If it’s fashion-overkill design were to touch your bare skin, it would burn you much in the same way that dry ice can burn you. That is to say, nobody really understands it, but we simply respect it’s awesome power.

It comes from an unholy alliance between Japan’s Softbank and fashion label Emporio Armani. The new handset is called the 830SC Emporio Armani Model and was specifically designed for the Japanese market by Giorgio Armani himself.

Along comes this interesting new concept to shake things up in the mobile projector industry. The Nokia Pulse Projector combines an LED-projector and a NXT-speaker with Dolby sound processing into a single device. It works with your cell using Pulse software and Bluetooth, basically turning your handset into an interactive remote which will control the multimedia player.

Some specs of this amazing concept include a native resolution of 1,280 x 768, a contrast ratio of 1,500:1, LED light technology, 1,000 lumens brightness and it will throw images from 15″ to 60″ at 7.87 feet.

The Palm Pre should cost $199 with contract or about $549 from Sprint without one. So why does BestBuy’s site list the phone for $849?

Did we somehow slip into some bizarro universe? Apparently it’s there to deter people who would otherwise actually want the phone. You know, because of the shortage…

Ralph de la Vega from AT&T has confirmed that the company has in fact been looking at lowering the cost of data plans. Instead of cutting the cost of unlimited access, the company plans to introduce lower priced plans with limited bandwidth.

“Right now we continue to study what is the best thing that is available, not just from an iPhone point of view, but what you can do to stimulate additional demand,” said de la Vega, adding, “[w]e view Apple as a strategic partner for us, a very good partner to have now and into the future.”

There’s been some talk of a Pre shortage. Apparently they ain’t kidding. 4 Palm Pres will be available per Best Buy store on launch day. That’s a total of 4250 Pre phones for the entire franchise. BGR is also reporting that RadioShack stores will get only two Pres.

Many of you are in for a rough June 6th. These numbers put your chances of getting a Palm Pre on launch day somewhere around slim and none.

THQ has sent a golden Nintendo Wii to Buckingham Palace. No doubt the Queen mum enjoys a healthy game of Cooking Mama now and again. The shiny console was delivered to Buckingham Palace today as part of a marketing stunt to promote BIG Family Games, the latest title in THQ’s BIG series. The game contains 24 classic family games. Stuff like lawn darts and bocce, which THQ hopes the Royal Family will enjoy.

The chances of Her Royal Highness ever touching the console are slim, but if she ever does, she can rest assured that the wiimote sticking out of her sparking TV will be gold.

This pair of headphones is clearly from the future. No doubt sent here to protect young John Connor’s ears and keep him listening to his tunes in style, so that he can one day be a kick-ass leader. At least, that’s what I’m guessing judging by how awesome they look. This is the Q-Sound headphone concept from Shepeleff Stephen and the design is simply amazing.

It looks great and also uses solar technology. That’s a solar panel running across the headband, where it will always catch the sun. The Q-Sound, being a concept, would also take calls or plug into a 3.5mm jack if you need it to.
