Potato / Deformed brain USB HubYou say potato I say pot-a-to. I think we can both agree that this thing looks more like a deformed mutant brain than a potato any day. Seriously, would you buy a potato that looked like this one? Me either. Anyway, if you like your USB hubs on the disturbingly weird side, this is for you, ya damn freak.

It’s a 4-port USB 2.0 compliant hub that is what it is. The USB Potato 4-Port Hub will cost you $16 from Brando. Not Marlon Brando, the gadget site. I know I’ve seen this thing it several B movies, but I just can’t place it.

NoPoPo Lantern Our favorite batteries are back. We’ve missed them. What other batteries are powered by your pee? Only Nopopo. As far as we know. We’ve missed you Nopopo. Our urine feels wasted without ye. But no more. This compact LED lantern will be equipped with a NoPoPo battery that doesn’t require a power outlet to juice up. It’s powered by water. Failing that, it will gladly accept your urine and give you power.

Sadly, the NoPoPo battery has been rated at just 500mAh and has a recharge capability of just four times, making this Wiz-powered lantern only good for emergency use.

Pill MP3 player to be produced later this yearWe’ve seen some crazy pill shaped concepts as well as actual pill shaped products, but this may be the strangest. An MP3 player/pill that is actually going into production later this year. You should see it by years end.

It’s for those who love pharmaceuticals a little too much. Which is half of America, so they likely will have a hit on their hands. At this point in our culture, if it even resembles a pill, people will want it. And this pill has no side effects like numbness in the limbs, stroke or even death. It measures 2.7 inches long and is about an inch in diameter. It pulls apart to unveil the controls, allowing you to twist forward and back to skip tracks.
