Samsung and MetroPCS unveil Tint mobile phone

Posted in Samsung by Shane McGlaun on April 29th, 2009

samsungtint-sbMetroPCS is certainly not one of the larger mobile phone providers in the country, but it offers unlimited service for a fixed price. That feature is something that will lure customers from the larger providers in the major cities and areas that the service covers.

Samsung and MetroPCS announced today that a new handset called the Samsung Tint is now available. The big feature of the Tint is that it has removable faceplates and includes both pink and grey faceplates for customization of the device.

The phone is aimed at messaging centric users and supports SMS, MMS, email, and IM messages. A camera and Bluetooth are built-in and the phone supports ChatLINK push to talk service. Pricing information on the new phone is unknown.
