kangurudvdduplicator-sbIn my line of work there seems to be a never ending stream of DVDs and CDs that come my way packed with materials about one sort of device or another. Go to a trade show and the number of CDs or DVDs handed out is staggering. I always wonder how they make all of those discs.

The answer is a device like the new Kanguru DVD duplicator. Kanguru says that its new offering is the industry’s fastest DVD duplicator capable of copying a full DVD with 4.75GB of data in less than 5 minutes. The device connects to a computer via USB.

Inside the duplicator is an optional, removable 250GB HDD that is used to store the source material for the copies being made. Kanguru says that copying the data to the internal hard drive makes duplication faster. Some models of the new duplication also offer Lightscribe disc labeling. The recording speed of the duplication system is 22x.
