EA and Crytek Offer Free Trial for Crysis Wars

Posted in Games by Shane McGlaun on April 10th, 2009

crysiswarhead-sbIt’s hard to believe after being around for well over a year that Crysis is still one of the best looking video games on the market. The follow up to the original Crysis, Crysis Warhead, was equally lush graphically, even if the story line wasn’t as good.

EA and Crytek are now offering a free trial period to get players to try out Crysis Wars, the online shooter version of Crysis. Crytek and EA also announced that they would release a Crysis Maximum Edition that has Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Crysis Wars in one box on May 5 for $39.99.

That price is a raging bargain if you don’t own these games, they are fantastic. Crysis Wars supports maps with up to 32 players fighting at once and has vehicles available. The free trial period for Crysis Wars runs until Friday April 17.
