Verizon’s Samsung Smooth makes an appearance

Verizon's Samsung Smooth makes an appearanceVerizon is replacing its low-end Samsung U340 with another handset from the company: the Smooth U350. The new clamshell doesn’t bring anything new to the table though, except for a change in style.

Some features you may already be familiar with include a VGA camera, 128 x 160 resolution display and a lack of microSD memory card slot. I don’t know about you, but I think it’s time that Samsung serious upgrades their entry-level phones.

No info on pricing, but the Samsung Smooth will be out before the end of the month, along with a $50 rebate.
