Star Trek line of Urns and Caskets

Posted in Sci-Fi by Conner Flynn on March 31st, 2009

Star Trek line of Urns and CasketsWe knew about the coffin that looks like a photon torpedo, but the urns are new to us. You can now feel free to die and STILL pretend you are in the Trek universe. At long last the caskets will be available in early 2009, so that all your friends can get in costume and stand over it, reciting classic lines from ST II.

But that’s not all. Monuments and vaults will also be available soon from the company. They are really working hard to profit from cold geek death. Maybe their next trick will be tricking out your corpse in all kinds of Borg gear. That I can get behind.

Maybe some Borg cube ships for gravestones…

See, now, there is a perfectly awesome-looking urn that would have tons of mass-market appeal if not for that Starfleet logo on the bottom.

I mean, do a Google image search for urn and see how many decent-looking ones you see. I went through the first several pages and only saw a couple. (Then again, it could just be an April Fool’s Joke)
