Samsung intros Q2 PMP with 50 hours of battery lifeYou want a PMP that can go the distance. I hear ya. Charging is for suckers. Why can’t they give you a PMP that has a battery with some real endurance? Looks like Samsung is doing just that. They’ve introduced a newcomer that promises 50 hours of audio playback on a single charge. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about.

The device features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, built-in microphone, FM radio module, 8GB / 16GB of flash storage and not much else. It will play nice with MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, WMV and MPEG-4. Sadly, no WiFi and Bluetooth.

No word on price yet, but we should know soon. 50 hours. That’s like 5000 songs…Or 2 choice Pink Floyd tracks.
