msi_wind_u110_eco-sbThe market is flooded with netbooks coming from most every computer maker. Among the most popular of the netbook crowd are the MSI Wind systems. At CES MSI was talking up its newest netbooks including the Wind U115 and the Wind U110 ECO.

While the Wind U115 hybrid will be coming stateside, the U110 ECO is still up in the air for America. The U110 ECO has launched outside of America and looks much like the U115, but offers features tailored for ultimate battery life. Features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, integrated webcam and more.

The machine uses the Intel Atom Z530 optimized for battery life along with a high-capacity 9-cell battery promising 9 hours of battery life. The machine has a 10-inch screen and uses Intel GMA 500 graphics. MSI had a misprint on its website that lead early reports to claim the system had ATI HD3200 graphics, which is does not. MSI still hasn’t decided if it will bring the U110 to America, but if the battery life is what the company claims, it would be crazy not to bring the machine here.
