Just a theory, but WHY would Microsoft feel the need to release a new, different colored dev kit? Perhaps it could be for the development of games using blu-ray technology?? Again, just a theory.. blue dev kit= bluray? iono, but I hope so!!

Hmmm… I wonder? LOL (cue the drums).

The extra top? Most likely it holds an additional cooling fan! If you ask me, MS should have put out a newer and sleeker 360 version by now. Sorry, painting the outside of the console as black or red doesn't count. How about some cooler LED's? A smaller design? A higher end model with built-in capabilities that also happens to not break every 6mos? Oh well, hopefully the next Xbox will benefit from some sleeker concepts.PS: Hey MS! The next Xbox better not have a big sign on the front stating how it has broken....Imagine how hard it would be for the press to attack the failure rates if they didn't know all the hardware failures were related?

Pretty sweet, one question: Does the blue tint help hide the RROD or E74 errors?
