Video of Philips’ Ultra-Widescreen Cinema 21:9 TV

Posted in Television by Conner Flynn on February 1st, 2009

We first told you about Philips’ Ultra-Widescreen Cinema 21:9 TV last month. Well, they got all official with a site launch and a nifty new video. It does away with the usual 16:9 format for a 21:9 one instead, letting you watch movies the way they were meant to be seen.

The TV is 56 inches diagonal and features Ambilight technology around the borders for a more immersive experience. It’s a bit strange at first, but movies will look really awesome on it.

How many of you are eagerly awaiting this one? Wipe the drool off your chin and let us know.
