Digital Butler will get you everything

Digital Butler will get you everythingIn the old days you just rang a bell and your servant would arrive to do your bidding. That’s kind of what this Digital Butler concept is all about. It will run on advanced 4G networks, with GPS to give you details on everything, like all the hip goings on in town etc. The circular design makes it easy to navigate with a touch screen display.

There’s also an accelerometer, a PDA phone feature, built-in LED projector and full-time network connection to all kinds of VIP services. It should probably be attached to a wheelchair so it can drive your lazy butt to all the hip spots. And it would have to be connected to all of your robots so they can run your errands.

The Solar ChumAlong solar tracking system is a solar charging panel that automatically tracks the sun just like those expensive arrays you see in movies. Miniature cube projector with docking speakerThe Sanko branded Miseal mini projector has a unique cube shape that fits in the palm of your hand, as opposed to typical handheld pico projectors . One interesting feature is that it snaps into a matching docking station for extra juice to supply an additional 2 watts of power for bigger sound.

JAJAH turns your iPod Touch into an iPhone

Posted in iPod Touch by Conner Flynn on February 9th, 2009

JAJAH turns your iPod Touch into an iPhoneThis is a lot like Truphone, which we told you about in December. Leading IP telecommunications company JAJAH has announced a complete overhaul of the iPod Touch. They want to turn the device into a fully functional iPhone.

The new capabilities will enable carriers and non-carriers to launch the service under their own brand and provide customers with the ability to make low-cost phone calls and send SMS text messages to any phone in the world from their iPod Touch. Consumers would only need a Wi-Fi connection, no SIM card or contract. This is big news, what with the iPod Touch being one of the most popular consumer devices in the world.

EasyBloom Plant Sensor is a garden know-it-all

Posted in Home by Conner Flynn on February 9th, 2009

EasyBloom Plant Sensor is a garden know-it-allThis is a great device if your thumb is brown rather than green. Consider it a cheat for becoming a great gardener. The EasyBloom Plant Sensor consists of two gadgets, a USB-enabled processor, and the sensor it plugs into that you also will stick into your soil. The sensor will clue you in on what your garden requires, telling you things like how much sun that area is getting as well as moisture, humidity etc.

After it collects 24 hours of data and chastises you about being a plant killer, plug it into your computer and it will give you valuable info what sorts of plants will thrive in your garden. You can search by color, height and other options. It’s at this point that you realize that the device is little more than a digital book of flowers that do well in your area, but it could still help those who kill plants just by looking at them.

Review: In Your Face iPhone Holder

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on February 9th, 2009

Review: In Your Face iPhone HolderA while back we told you about the iFlyz iPhone holder, designed to hold your iPhone during long flights. It’s a great idea for sure, but you have to question the whole suction cup idea. You don’t want to trust your expensive gadget to a suction cup.

That’s where the In Your Face iPhone holder comes in. It does pretty much the same thing, for the same price, just in a much safer way as there is no suction cup involved. Instead it uses a much stronger spring-loaded iPhone clamp. I’m happy to report that it does it’s job well and has multiple uses while you keep your hands free.
