Nikon unveils P90 point-and-shoot digital camera |
Many consumers don’t want to bother with a big and expensive DSLR camera. What most users want is a camera that is compact and easy to use with great image quality. Nikon has unveiled several new point-and-shoot digital cameras this week including the P90.
The P90 boasts a massive 24x zoom lens with a focal range equating to 26mm to 624mm. The camera offers 12.1-megapixels of resolution with sensor shift VR image stabilization to prevent blurry shots at super-high levels of zoom.
The rear LCD is 3-inches and can be angled 90 degrees upward or 45 degrees down for a better view while shooting. ISO sensitivity is up to ISO 6400 and the camera can shoot continuously at up to 15 frames per second for up to 45 consecutive images. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
