MySpace gets new mobile website |
I have never been into social networking, I am far too busy sitting in front of my computer all day working and playing video games to care about the outside world. My wife on the other hand has formed some sort of Vulcan mind meld with MySpace and went into full convulsions when our Internet connection was down.
If you are the type that has to be able to check the status of everyone you know at any given moment on MySpace and you have a mobile phone with Internet connectivity, the social network has announced a new mobile website. MySpace says that it has 20 million users accessing its mobile website each month.
The new site is optimized for devices with screen resolutions of 176 pixels wide or larger and is available in localized versions for 29 countries and 13 different languages. MySpace also says that it will be developing apps for the Nokia S60 web runtime and for the coming Palm Pre OS. The new mobile website can be accessed at m.myspace.com and wap.myspace.com.

I have been to myspace site to review the wireless tool for cell phones. The thing I like is you can send messages to most popular cell phones from myspace.com This a great tool if you are on myspace and don’t have a phone and need to get a message to someone with a cell phone. Also if you have a cell phone and just would like to text someone from myspace mobile its cool. Just be sure that your friend doesn’t mind that you use the mobile tool because they may have to pay for mobile service provider charges.
