Clue Secrets & Spies uses text messaging for hints |
One of my favorite board games when I was a kid was Clue. Figuring out who killed Col. Mustard and what they used to do it was great fun. The game has hung around and is now a classic with the same game play that many of us grew up on. Hasbro is also announcing new versions of the game with updated game play.
The latest version is called Clue: Secrets & Spies and has players trying to infiltrate a criminal league as a super spy. Players try to figure out who Agent Mustard and Agent Scarlet are and complete missions independently.
Clues to help accomplish missions can be sent to the players cell phones via text messages. For players who don’t have cell phones the text messaging is optional. Standard texting rates apply to games sent for the game and Hasbro says it will support the texting aspect of the game until December 2011. Clue: Secrets & Spies will retail for $24.99 and goes on sale this fall for players 9 years old and up.

Very cool idea, but what about after 2011? The game becomes a spruced up Clue, which for $24.99 isn’t very cool.
It’s who killed “Mr. Body”, not Colonel Mustard. The yellow wearing service man was just another suspect.
tell me how and when.
Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
