One of the newer PlayStation 3 gaming accessories from dreamGear of late is an upgraded controller. It is called the Shadow Wireless and it prices around $40.

The dreamGear Shadow Wireless is said to be the first ever PS3 wireless controller featuring uniquely relocated analog sticks for enhanced accuracy and comfort. Regular controllers have these sticks side by side, said dreamGear, causing some in-gaming discomfort. The repositioned sticks are said “to feel more natural to the gamer’s hands.”

Features of the Shadow Wireless controllers include rubberized grips, better L2 and R2 buttons, dual rumble motors and a built-in rechargeable battery. These controllers will be available this month.

If you have man-hands, the 360 controller is un-disputably superior. The PS3 layout of the analog sticks is a holdover from when they were tacked onto the PS1 controller. No more, no less. It’s about time someone made it more ergonomic for those of us with adult, grownup physiques. The PS3 controller is the main reason I continue to get games on my 360 instead…

I see a USB dongle, does this mean it functions on a PC?
