Sanyo R227

Everybody seems to be getting into releasing Internet radios this year. Even Sanyo. The company is getting set to release this month the R227, priced around $170.

The Sanyo R227 is designed to deliver, either through wireless Wi-Fi or Ethernet wired connectivity, thousands of Internet radio stations and podcasts. The product has the look somewhat of a regular clock radio, even sporting a FM tuner with alarm clock functions for those that desire.

Features of the R227 include searching for stations by country or genre, accessing audio files stored on a home network for playback, stereo speakers, a remote control and eight Internet station presets. It measures 8.66 W x 5.63 H x 4.92 D.

  1. Electronic Gadgets Says:

Nice clean design. Internet radios seem to break out into retro or ultra modern and this seems to blend both well.

  2. MikeE Says:

This one’s more than just an Internet radio, though. It’ll stream your tunes wirelessly from your PC and can connect directly to your Hi-Fi, meaning it operates in exactly the same way as a Logitech Squeezebox.

Nice little box that does more than it says on the tin!

I like the design…. It will be a big hit, I will use it to listen to http://www.uswebtalkradio.com
    Thanks for the heads up.
