Acer Aspire One in 10-inch flavor spied |
I really like netbooks. I think they are a great compromise between portability, price, and performance for the most part. I have worked extensively from a 10-inch MSI Wind and found it easy to do. What I am not particularly keen on is working from smaller 8-inch netbooks like the Acer Aspire One.
Those that really like the Acer, but yearn for a larger screen will be glad to hear that a 10-inch Aspire One has been spied and pictures are now available. The machine sports a different look, but the specs are much the same.
You get the obligatory netbook Atom N270/N280 CPU, a 10-inch screen with a resolution likely to be the normal 1024 x 600, optional 3G, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage, Windows XP, SDHC card reader, web cam and a new multitouch touchpad. That last bit is cool, the Eee 1002HA uses a similar track pad, and it’s fantastic. Pricing and availability for the 10-inch Aspire One is unknown at this time.
