The Ziplamp: Unzip for some light

The Ziplamp: Unzip for some lightThe Ziplamp by Merry Design Studio is an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styren) light stick hiding inside in a neoprene cover. To turn on the Ziplamp, just… Well, unzip the cover until you have the desired amount of light. It’s a pretty nifty, almost organic looking looking way of using lighting. I don’t see why it couldn’t be incorporated directly into the wall, or the roof of a car for that matter.

The Ziplamp almost seems a bit sexual given it’s unzipping nature. They should probably have a miniature version you can put under your clothes. That way you can wow the ladies and they’ll tell all their girlfriends that you were so amazing you exuded light from your privates. That’s a ringing endorsement.

Sadly it’s but a concept. One I hope makes it into mass production.
