Orbita Mouse looks like a red blood cell

Orbita MouseIf you go to your local electronics store and look at the display of mice for your computer or notebook, you will notice that they are all very similar in design. Not only do they share the same design and similar technology, the shape means that virtually all mice put stress on the same parts of the hand and wrist.

Cyber E Sport has introduced a new mouse that uses a unique design that reminds me of a red blood cell with a concave design. The round mouse has an indention in the middle and uses wireless 2.4GHz connectivity.

The big feature of the Orbita Mouse that sets it apart from other mice is the round design and the fact that to scroll pages you spin the entire mouse round and round. The maker says that the scroll method can help reduce repetitive stress injuries. Scrolling speed depends on how fast you spin the mouse. The Orbita is compatible with both Mac and PC and uses an internal rechargeable Cadmium and nicol battery. Availability is set for January at a price of $98.50.

They’re known as NiCd (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Typically pronounced “nye-cad”, thanks…have a nice day Shane.

I took battery description from the manufacturers website thinking it might be something proprietary they were using. Maybe it was just weird foreign spelling. :)

Finally! Someone is thinking outside the box. CyberSport for the win.
