Logitech G9 ID GripWhen it comes to peripherals for PC gaming, normal mice and keyboards that ship with computers today really don’t cut it. Gamers need peripherals with more performance and customization options. Gaming with a normal 800 dpi mouse is not what gamers really want.

Back at E3 2007 I first laid eyes on the Logitech G9 gaming mouse. The mouse offered some interesting features including very high resolution for excellent sensitivity and customization with interchangeable grips to change the look and feel of the mouse. At the time, Logitech said that it would be introducing additional grips with different shapes and customized artwork.

As the months came and went I wondered where the new grips had gone. Logitech has finally introduced its first grip for the G9 called the ID grip. The new ID Grip allows gamers to have an image of their choice printed on a grip. The image can be artwork provided by Logitech, including artwork from some EA games, or an image the gamer provides. The image is printed to the grip with a smudge and fade proof process. The grip is available starting today for $19.99.
