Logitech Announces Comfort Lapdesk for notebook computer

Logitech Comfort LapdeskThere are still lots of laptop users that like to use their laptops actually sitting in their lap rather than a table or desk. The problem is that some laptops put out enough heat to roast your chestnuts after a bit of use.

Logitech has announced a new lapdesk called the Comfort Lapdesk for Notebooks that promises to prevent the heat from the computer from being an issue for the user and lift the screen up to a more comfortable viewing height.

The desk only touches the user in four places with a tunnel through the middle for cool air movement and the device is made from four heat-shielding layers. The bottom is made from fabric and the screen is lifted and angled by 12 degrees when placed on the desk. The lapdesk will ship in February for $39.99.
