Viewsonic Digital Photo FrameAny parent or person who takes lots of digital pictures will like a digital photo frame this holiday season. A digital frame is a very easy way to get the photos a person takes from the computer to a photo frame for viewing — without having to print them out.

Viewsonic has introduced a pair of new digital photo frames called the DPG801BK and the DPG807BK that start at $129 and feature SwifTouch touch screen technology. The touch screen technology used by Viewsonic prevents clutter and smudges on the screen.

The controls are hidden and illuminate to show menu selections when needed. Both frames share the same 800 x 600 resolution and 500:1 contrast ratio. Internal memory is 512MB and memory cards and USB drives are accepted. File formats supported include MPEG1, MPEG4, and Motion JPEG.
