GoWear fitThe new year will be here before you know it bringing with it the usual New Year’s resolutions from people. One of the most common resolutions is to lose weight. There are lots of gadgets available that can help people lose weight and reach fitness goals.

One of the newest gadgets is called the GoWear fit. The device is sort of like a super pedometer. It goes on the upper arm and includes an armband. It monitors all sorts of things for the wearer like steps taken, calories burned, amount of physical activity, sleep duration and efficiency.

The device can also be coupled with an optional display that wears like a watch. A major component of the device is an online program called the Online Activity Manager. This tracks a user’s goals and statistics from the device. The catch is that the online component requires a monthly fee of from $6.95 to $12.95 per month depending on the agreement the buyer chooses. The device itself retails for $199.
