GotGame launches Rogue web browser

Posted in Web Browser by Shane McGlaun on November 24th, 2008

GotGame LogoI am a big fan of online games like Call of Duty and I particularly like Deathmatches. The problem is when you get fragged early you end up sitting there while the good players fight it out leaving you with nothing to do.

A company called GotGame has introduced a new web browser that runs in game. The browser is called Rogue and allows players to surf the Internet without minimizing their game window. The browser supports game overlay in Windows XP and Vista.

Rogue is fully CSS, JavaScript, and Flash compatible and has a hot key to open or close the browser in game. Transparency of the browser is customizable to allow users to play with the browser open if wanted. Optimization options are available to tweak the browser to specific systems. The browser is free and can be downloaded now. Once you get it, you can watch Hulu shows while you wait for your chance to get back in the game.
