DataWind launches PocketSurfer2The DataWind PocketSurfer2 will come with some updated features like a touchpad, integrated GPS receiver, improved display, and better Vodafone network coverage. The PocketSurfer2’s US counterpart, the PC Edge, hasn’t really made a big splash here and so hasn’t been updated but the price has been reduced by $100. In the U.S. it will cost $200 for the unit with a $24.99 monthly fee, while those living in the UK will pay £200 with 20 hours of free surfing each month for the year. After the first year, UK owners can choose a £40 annual fee or a one-time £60 fee for the Immortality Plan which provides unlimited surfing for lifetime of the device.

I am not sure the DataWind PocketSurfer2 will do very well, as it has been replaced by the new (and in some cases powerfull) mini notebooks, that have scrambled on to the market (eepc for example).
    Time will tell I suppose.
    Regards
    Jeff.

We all have a code which we live and die by. Time will tell weather this will be a good investment. But never the less I respect the effort.
