Make Your Own Peanut Butter |
Some of you may prefer making your own foods rather then buying them from store shelves. If you choose to make your own peanut butter, well that’s just Skippy. Good for you. It will be fresher, not loaded with preservatives and other chemicals and you’ll get the respect of peanut enthusiasts like former President Jimmy Carter. Your sandwich of choice, PB&J will taste awesome.
Just pour 2 cups of peanuts and decide whether you want crunchy or smooth. After that, just spread it, eat and let it stick to the roof of your mouth. It will cost $50 starting at the end of the month. Might just be easier to buy it in the store, but at a few bucks a jar this machine will save you money.

This is pretty cool, I think. There’s a gourmet market, Colosantis, up the street from us that has a machine to make fresh peanut butter like this. It’s expensive to buy that peanut butter there, so this machine you’re speaking of would pay for itself in a short time. Good report – thanks!

AAAWESOME
were can i buy this ?
Of far more use would be a list, if not evaluation of (tested) machines that are not so huge and do nothing but make peanut butter. Some juicers do, some food processors do, and some grain mills do. I for one, do not know which, and whether the sellers expect that oil will be added to smooth the consistency. Also, of course, it would be useful to be able to make almond and other nut butters without dumping two quarts of peanuts back into storage, and cleaning up the interior of a machine such as is pictured in this article.
Before you buy one of these go to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CJMAV0 and read some of the reviews. Most of them said it’s a piece of junk that’s not worth what it costs.
If you have a Winco foods near you they have a peanut butter machine that uses only unsalted peanuts for a very good price!
