HP Vivienne Tam Special Edition

HP announced late this afternoon it was partnering with fashion designer Vivienne Tam to create a “special edition notebook positioned to become the ultimate tech accessory for fashionistas around the globe.” There really isn’t much information available on the HP Vivienne Tam Special Edition, but we can tell you it is expected to be available early next year.

This new fashion notebook was being shown off today at Tam’s fashion show during New York’s Fashion Week at Bryant Park. HP said the “top of the notebook is gleaming red and bursting with peony flowers. The peony design is meticulously carried inside the notebook, under the keypad. The notebook also features a complementary embroidered storage sleeve that helps keep the exterior protected while being carried as a clutch.”

This notebook, as well as associated accessories and packaging, is said to be inspired by the designer’s “China Chic” style. HP and Tam, besides the notebook, also unveiled a virtual catwalk Web site where you can, among other things, dress up your computer “with Tam-designed wallpaper, screensaver and icons.” Just in case you are into Tam that much.

wow. how exciting. a notebook as pretty and brainless as the catwalkers. only could be brought to market by an idiot like hp’s marketing ‘dude’ mr towelhead himself. sure to be an overnight yawner, like everything else stylish hp has done.

where is the real design. the real significant. the real meaningful.

    oh yeah. at apple.

je vais aller dans le même sens que le précédent commentaire. Aucun intérêt le design n’a rien de bien original comparé aux macbook, et la sérigraphie est un peu vieillotte. autant se faire customiser son portable par un artiste ous ur un site comme skinizy.

THe design is poor and oldfashion Why should i buy a laptop with an grandma cover design if I can put a very nice sticker on it? What’s the new or where is the fashion ?
