HP HDX Laser Gaming MouseIt seems like everyone is jumping into the gaming peripheral market today. Not so long ago the only two real players in the market were Logitech and Razer. Today Microsoft is back in a big way and a slew of small firms are offering up gamer specific devices.

HP is even getting in on the gaming peripheral market with the introduction of a pair of new gaming mice. HP claims its HDX Laser mouse and Laser Gaming Mouse with VodooDNA are designed for expert gamers. The mice offer adjustable sensitivity through five different levels.

Sensitivity is up to 3200 dpi for the Laser Gaming Mouse with VoodooDNA and up to 2400 dpi for the HDX with software interpolation. Sensitivity of 2400 dpi is not great these days, especially when achieved through interpolation. Razer for example has up to 4000 dpi without interpolation. The HP HDX mouse will retail for $39.99 and the Laser Gaming Mouse with VoodooDNA will sell for $59.99.
