The iPod accessory loving people over at Griffin Technology were showing off this week the latest iteration of the popular iTrip family of FM transmitters. This one is called the Griffin iTrip Universal and it will cost you around $40 to own one.

The Griffin iTrip Universal is actually designed to be compatible with most portable audio players. It allows audio to be played via FM by connecting a audio source to its 3.5mm headphone cable. It includes a three station memory and backlit LCD screen.

Other features of this new iTrip include a USB rechargeable internal battery and stereo/mono output modes. It is available now.
