Brando Cell Phone JammerEveryone has been somewhere in public before like the movies, a restaurant, or church and been bothered by other peoples cell phones ringing. I know on more than one occasion I have wished I could silence other people cell phones, with something other than a kick to the groin of the offender.

Brando has announced a new handheld portable universal cell phone jammer that claims it can block all cell phone systems including GSM, DCS, PCS, PHS, ECT, CDMA, and even 3G. The device has the power to create an area with a radius of 8 to 10m where cell phones can’t get a signal. The device measures 5.8 cm x 11.8 cm x 2.2 cm and has a dual miniature antenna.

Brando claims the device can operate for 1.5 hours with a fully charged battery. Suggested uses for the device include the conference room, classroom, library, courtroom, cinema, concert hall, and anywhere else you want be bothered by other people cell phones. Brando sells the jammer for $246 and is available now. The Brando jammer looks much smaller than the DealExtreme jammer we talked about before.
