Apple to develop wearable screens?
According to Research and Markets’ latest report, both Apple and Sony are looking into developing screens that could be worn inside glasses.

“Today’s personal viewers provide video only with limited visibility of the environment. Sony and Apple are developing the next generation personal viewer, the navigation/video sunglasses. These products will offer navigation features in full see-through mode as well as video viewing with a clip-on to block the background,”

It makes sense. If you can do more while using a screen and not have to stop what you are doing in the real world, you are going to use more of that company’s products and more often. Plus there’s a large market for video glasses and the like in the military. So why wouldn’t they be working on something like this? You may have a pair of iShades before you know it, which will give you something to do whenever waiting in line at the Apple store.
