UTStarcom puts an Arc in the Virgin

Posted in Mobile Phones by Nino Marchetti on July 8th, 2008

Virgin Mobile ArcVirgin Mobile USA announced today a new flip phone developed for the mobile carrier by UTStarcom. This one is called the Arc and pricing is set around $50.

The Virgin Arc has what is described as a “trendsetting red soft-feel touch.” Sounds like lines from a porno - “a virgin arc with a red, soft feel touch.” Anyhow,  the phone measures 3.6- x 1.9- x0.8-inches and weighs around three ounces.

Features of the Arc include your standard Bluetooth, digital camera built-in and preloaded content. It gets around 210 minutes talk time and should be available now.
