Sony rolls out BDP-S350 Blu-ray player |
Sony, which announced some upcoming Blu-ray players back in February, said one of them is now available. The Sony BDP-S350 prices at around $400.
The Sony BDP-S350, according to Sony, “supports BonusView (picture-in-picture), which is featured on select new Blu-ray Disc home video releases, and is also BD-Live ready, with an Ethernet port for easy firmware updates and access to Internet-based interactive content features. A firmware update enabling BD-Live is planned later this year.”
Other interesting features include 1080p upscaling via HDMI, a smaller product footprint, a quick start up mode and support for AVCHD discs encoded with x.v.Color (xvYCC) technology.
