Niles iRemote TS

Niles Audio said this week it is now shipping a wireless remote with color touch screen. It is called the Niles iRemote TS and you’ll find it pricing around $1,300.

The Niles iRemote TS is designed primarily to control whole house distributed audio/video system and sophisticated home theater systems. It, according to Niles, uses ZigBee 2-way wireless technology to provide users with the metadata to scan, select and play program material from menu-based digital sources.

Other features of the Niles iRemote TS include infrared commands for use with non-Zigbee equipped devices, setup software which is wizard-based and a charging station. It is available now.

I want one of these, all I got to do now is to rig my house up so everything works remotely, and a few thousand pounds to do it, never mind I can still dream. I wonder if I can use it on the wife :). Seriously though, what a cool remote.
