New Kodak digital frames stream photos, Internet content

Kodak EASYSHARE W1020 Wireless Digital Frame

Kodak is introducing some new wireless digital frames which are Internet-connected for display Web-based content. These new frames - the Kodak EASYSHARE W1020 and W820 Wireless Digital Frames - will be available later this year at a yet to be anounced price.

The  Kodak EASYSHARE W1020 and W820 Wireless Digital Frames allow consumers to wirelessly connect through the Internet to photo-sharing sites including Kodak Gallery and Flickr and Internet content manager FrameChannel. These 10- and 8-inch frames allow one to view photos from the selected photo sites, as well as letting one access through some 200 FrameChannel feeds the latest news, weather, traffic, sports scores and more.

Other features of these frames include  image display in 16:9 HD format, wirelesss streaming of photos from a PC and storage of up to 4,000 photos in its built-in memory.
