Xerox debuts USB flatbed scanner

Xerox 7600

Xerox today rolled out a low end USB flatbed scanner for photo enthusiasts. It is called the Xerox 7600 and it prices for around $100.

The Xerox 7600 is capable of scanning up to 1200 x 1200 dpi in 48-bit color. It has one-touch scanning technology and includes front buttons to scan, copy, OCR, email and custom. These buttons are pre-configured to more effectively do their specific tasks.

Other features of this flatbed USB scanner include a weight of 3.3 pounds, a thickness of less than 1.5-inches, a hinged lid and a bundled suite of document and image management software. It should be available now.
