With Father’s Day in just a few days Nextar, a consumer electronics company, announced a digital picture frame which is already available at retail. It is called the Nextar N3-505 and you’ll find it running around $50.

The Nextar N3-505 is a 3.5-inch digital picture frame set in a black wood frame. The display is a 262k color TFT QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240. The frame itself includes a magnetic stand so it can be adjusted for vertical or horizontal photo viewing.

Nextar says this frame can be seen in even bright daylight. Photo transfers are done from supported memory cards and that the unit has 32MB which can store up to 50 photos. The built-in flash media slot obviously lets you expand this as well.
