Accell unveils HDMI 1.3 compliant cable

Accell UltraRun 1.3Accell, a maker of A/V and computer cables, announced today a new HDMI cable which is 1.3 compliant. It is known as the UltraRun 1.3 and you’ll find it with a starting price of around $280, depending upon cable length.

The Accell UltraRun 1.3 cables are long length HDMI 1.3 compliant cables which range in distance from 33 feet up to 82 feet. These cables, primarily designed to be installed in-wall, boast a feature which allows the repeater module, should it become inoperable, to be replaced without having to remove the cable from inside the wall.

Features of the UltraRun 1.3 include being UL Listed CL3 and CSA FT4 rated, supporting bandwidth requirements up to 6.75Gbps (225MHz) and making use of a built-in miniature signal equalizer and booster. The cable should be available now.
