K2 EMF meter makes ghostbusting a breeze |

If ghostbusting is your thing, you’ll want to check out this K2 EMF meter before you get slimed. EMF (electromagnetic field) energy is similar to what is emitted by your gadgets. The device is simple and portable and will have you catching ghosts so easily that you’ll hear them cursing you out when you review your audio recorder for EVP(Electronic voice phenomenon).
The device has 5 LEDs for different levels of EMF. It even knows the difference between EMF emitted by you and your gadgets and by paranormal spookery. EMF from gadgets will light up the LEDs and remain steady. Paranormal activity makes the meter spike since spooks emit a pulsating EMF energy. An otherworldly specter will cause all 5 LEDs to light up and flash. I can attest to this, since I have one and it did the exact same thing when my mother-in-law came over.
It’s simple. If you are in an area known for paranormal activity, just turn it on and it’s working. Comes with a 9-volt battery.

Hi Lisa I read your article RE: the K-2 meters, I just did a 30 day study and documentry, about does EMF and ghosts have a connection, what is happening is those who are using the k-2 meters are not educated on exactly how to read magnetic readings, when you are near a electric appliance or a electric plug, light switch, anything that emits emf radition the magnetic field radiates from the source, it can go through walls ,doors, any type of material, the true reading of an appliance is not directly in front of it but on the other side of the wall its on. Even standing under a celing light the magnetic field will radiate above it or below it, Example, the microwave oven , the reading I took was at 3.5 in front of it , on the other side of the wall was my living room, I have only a tv in there that world if on would read about 2.9 - 3.0 although the room was reading 34.8 does this mean I have a ghost in the room no what it means is the magnetic feild traveled from its source, it always travels from its source. I live in a very active haunted home, ghosts in just about every room, with the studies I did for 30 days 3 times a day, every room in the house, every wall, every light switch, front yard back yard garage, every single abnormal being above the normal range at .9-2.0 had a source for the magnetic readings, it is unproveable that magnetic radiation ( EMF ) has about a 2 % chance of being associated with the paranormal or ghosts.
Tuesday Miles
Good for you, Tuesday! Ridiculous gadgets like this almost assure that solid scientific research into paranormal activities will continue to be scorned and laughed at. I lived in a haunted house so do believe something is going on, but it will never be proved by laughable contraptions like this.
EMF meters have their place, but only if all outside influences are ruled out. It also doesn’t help to have “mediums” and “psychics” going around spouting nonsense.
I’m all for serious investigation, but paranormal studies will always remain the orphan of scientific research until it divests itself of idiotic junk like this, which belongs in the same category of ouija boards, pendulums and dowsing rods.
Congratulations Tuesday. All you have proven is that you have a lot of unshielded appliances in your home.
The correct way to USE this device, or ANY EMF reader, when doing a Paranormal investigation, is to SHUT OFF all possible sources of man-made EMF BEFORE using it.
Then do a sweep and try to debunk the readings with whatever you may have forgotten to shut off.
Besides, I have used this device many times in building with NO electricity in them. One STILL gets readings at times, even in a non-electrified setting.
YES. This device does indeed work. But one has to do your groundwork BEFORE using it.
EMF activity is indeed indicative of spiritual activity. AFTER you’ve eliminated the other sources.
But if you get light responses to direct questions then it’s not outside interfearence.
“How sure do we need to be that our beliefs correspond to the actual world?
A ghost hunter is in a haunted location experiences a change in temperature His EMF meter is spiking high readings. His theory leads him to believe this may be evidence of a spirit trying to communicate. His theory justifies his belief a spirit is in the room.
Do ghosts really emit electromagnetic fields? Are EMF meters even capable of demonstrating that ghosts emit EM fields?
To justify a belief with out evidence is no more then a theory of the belief. Our ghost hunter believes he is in the presence of a spirit, based on beliefs, of other beliefs. So the ghost hunter’s belief isn’t based on evidence.
In theory thek2 meter can communicate with spirits. The theory is ghosts emit an electromagnetic field as they move about. The meter can detect the field if the ghost is interactive, its movements can act as a response to a question being asked. The theory is based on the led lights move in response to questions and this can only be accomplished by communicating with a spirit. So the justifying belief is the K2 can communicate with a spirit. And the justified belief is spirits are real. Because the K2 blinks in response to yes and no questions. But what if the belief is itself unjustified. It would in no way be one’s intellectual right to suppose that only a spirit is responsible for the K2 responding to yes and no questions. Does the K2 really provide an inference of reality based on a theory of belief to suggest a spirit can hear and understand us and manipulate an EMF meter? The theory amounts to nonsense because it is not saying the K2 could be used to communicate with spirits; it is saying ghosts do communicate with a K2 meter. It suggests we rule out the fact it lights up for nearby electrical lines and all other possibilities.
I find the K2 Laughable or hilarious because of obvious absurdity or incongruity. The decision to use it on an investigation often causes me to slink down in my recliner and mumble words that make no more sense then using a K2 meter to contact ghosts. I find the idea of grown men talking to a device and believing they have contacted a spirit based on a theory is an insult to any person who prides themselves as being a critical thinker.
The use of assumption-led techniques increases the likelihood of suggestion as a factor generating spurious evidence. If people are expecting to contact a ghost, as the use of some of these techniques implies, then they are more likely to accept random events as a positive response. The fact that the investigators usually know the results of previous investigations at the site further increases the importance of suggestion.
now what is needed is for some whizzkid to build a device around a number of emf meters, with a little screen.. with a meter to represent each of a-z and 1-9, activating those alphanumerics instead of activating lights, all in a laptop sized box, it surely would be possible to set up communication with spirits whereby they could use the meters to spell out what they are trying to say on screen. also included would be a configuration wizard which would measure existing, or background, emf levels and be able to filter it out. then again we could move to a stephen hawkin type of communication device where the spirit could choose words, not just letters.. its about time someone did some serious work with this.. if i was a wizzkid, i’d have done it years ago, sadly i’m not - but i would certainly be the first customer of such devices!
