Sony Europe is treating its consumer base to a new BRAVIA television series which does full 1080p HD and offers an AVC-HD tuner. This series is called the BRAVIA W4000-Series.

The BRAVIA W4000-Series LCDs will reportedly range in size from 32- to 52-inches in screen diameter. You’ll get some reportedly really great images on your television with its BRAVIA ENGINE 2, 10-bit signal processing and 10-bit LCD panel. This will all bring you what Sony says is some 64 times more color.

Other features we like on these new BRAVIAs include a “picture frame” mode which uses the LCD as a large digital picture frame for displaying HD photos when not in use, an integrated HDTV tuner and a 24p “True Cinema” mode. No word on specific pricing or availability.
