I'm new to iphone and am finding all the apps fantastic. Why by an expensive cycle computer and an MP3 player, and a phone, and gps device? I can't wait to try the trails app while the phone is mounted to handle bars.

Kudos to you who bash the review about suicide by iphone while riding a bike. Cycling whilst watching a video would not only be dangerous - it would be next to impossible. What a pointless review.

Total agreement with Brandon and co here. We are very interested in customer feedback and obviously don't recommend anyone watching movies while on their back - unless it is cold outside and you are on your trainer :)

We have recently released a new mount for the iphone – the iBikeMount. You can track speed, use it as a map, couple it with map my ride, etc. Think of it like a car speedometer or a radio tuner - you dont stare at it the entire time you are driving.

Every site that has reviewed this gadget seems to think that all the iphone does is play movies. I think my primary concern though would be destroying my iPhone through the harsh vibration. It really can't be good to subject all that delicate miniturized electronics to a 15 mile bike commute each day. After all, your butt gets a padded seat, but this is affixed tightly to the frame. Think it might be hard to explain to AT&T why they should send me a replacement phone if my previous one experiences death-by-vibration.Oh and I'm posting this from my iPhone while riding my bike down a busy street and blasting my iPod, so would you guys mind posting in a bigger font?

First let me say that I’d vastly prefer to use my iPhone for a gps/computer instead of having to buy the dedicated cycling computer for $200+. Google maps comes in handy when your looking for road routes and finally you can use it to make a phone call for emergencies.

I agee… Some people use it as a cyclometer… Google maps comes in handy when your looking for road routes and finally you can use it to make a phone call for emergencies.

By: Brandon

<guid

A bike holder for the iPhone is obviously to use the gps navigation function, not watch movies?? This article is retarded.

Why has every review about an iPhone bike mount been written by someone who obviously dosent ride a bike, particularly in an urban environment.
