Asus debuts HD multimedia laptop with optional Blu-ray

asus-m701.jpgAsus has announced a new laptop computer which offers a number of high definition enhancements for multimedia lovers. It is called the Asus M70 and no specific pricing information is available as of yet.

The Asus M70 sports a 17-inch WUXGA screen showcasing 1920 x 1200 pixels and 16:10 aspect ratio. It runs off of your choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors and can support up to 4GB of RAM. Maximum hard drive space is said to be 1TB due to dual hard drive support.

Other features of the M70, depending upon configuration, could include a Blu-ray Disc drive, Dolby Home Theater, HDMI, ATI Mobile Radeon graphics and a Web cam. Availability by region is not known as of yet.
