AgfaPhoto has a new HD camcorder that records at 1280 x 720 in MPEG-4 and uses H.264 compression. The tiny camcorder measures only 4.7-inches x 2.75-inches and weighs under 200g. Videos are shot in 16:9 wide screen format and can be played directly on your HDTV at home.

The camera stores video on SDHC cards and get up to 4 hours and 20 minutes on one 8GB SDHC memory card. The camcorder has a built-in mic and an external mic can be connected for better sound. You can also shoot still shots with the 5000Z at up to 8MP interpolated and the video lamp can act as a flash. Pricing is 249 Euro including VAT. No word on if the camera will make it to the U.S. as this time.
