Card shufflers have been around for awhile, but they haven’t really gone high tech until now. Which is good news, because if your buddies have had a few too many drinks, you are bound to get a crap hand. And that just won’t do when you are down to your last chip and have bet your wedding ring on the outcome of this hand.

Shuffle Tech says that this state-of-the-art version will speed up the whole card shuffling process. It has two options, one with three riffles that takes 45 seconds and the other with seven that takes 90 seconds. I’m not sure that’s a whole faster, but again, if your buddies are half drunk, it may be. It also has a translucent lid in case you are fascinated by the goings on inside.

The sucky thing about this is that it costs $480. I would say, if you just bought one, it’s like losing your first hand before a single card is shuffled.
