New MSI gaming laptop sports 45nm technology

MSI GX600-EnhancedMSI has bumped up the feature set on its GX600 gaming laptop to create a more powerful computing platform. This new laptop is known as the MSI GX600-Enhanced.

The MSI GX600-Enhanced now features Intel 45nm processing technology, 3GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive. It also sports the latest NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 3D graphic chipset, Windows Vista Home Premium, and a 15.4-inch WXGA+ display.

MSI carries over on this laptop its “Turbo Drive Engine” technology, which it says can boost CPU speed up to 20 percent at the touch of a button. This laptop should be available shortly if not already in stores.

    How much is this beast? I was looking for a laptop just like this, but I see it difficult to spend over $1000 for a laptop that will be “old” in 2 years.
