Toshiba announced a new pre-configured laptop today which makes use of the new Intel Penryn mobile processor. It is called the Toshiba Satellite U305-S2816 and it prices at around $1,350.

The Toshiba Satellite U305-S2816 is one of Toshiba’s first laptops to feature the new Intel Core 2 Duo processor T8100. Besides the new Intel inside, it also incorporates 2048MB of memory, a 250GB hard disk drive, a starting weight of 4.6 pounds and features a 13.3-inch diagonal widescreen display.

Toshiba said its new laptop also makes use of the latest draft 802.11n wireless standard as well as Bluetooth 2.0 plus Enhanced Data Rate. It should be available now.
