iPod shuffle price dropped to $49

Posted in Media Players by Darrin Olson on February 19th, 2008

iPod Shuffle price cut to $49 from $79The iPod shuffle, still the tiniest of iPods, has just seen a price cut of $30 bringing the formerly $79 media player down to $49. The shuffle has no display with a 1GB capacity, the ability to hold around 240 songs and is coming at the $49 price in a multitude of colors.

Last we noticed there wasn’t anything else from Apple showing any price changes, but at the time of this posting the Apple store is actually down. This, especially on a Tuesday, is usually a pretty good indicator that something is happening. We’ll keep you posted…

Thanks, Tim.
