CES 2008

Shogo photo frame uses touch screen, wireless

Posted in CES 2008, Digital Photo Frames by Nino Marchetti on January 7th, 2008

ShogoDigital picture frame announcements are pretty common right now at CES. What’s to make one stand out? Perhaps a touch screen? That’s at least part of the idea behind RealEase’s Shogo, priced at around $300.

The Shogo is a stylish looking eight-inch digital picture frame which is touch screen and also wireless. The touch screen interface allows for navigation of menus to select various photo albums and other content for viewing. The wireless function lets you pull down from a special Web site pictures you upload and other digital content such as weather forecasts and RSS feeds.

Other features of the Shogo experience (which includes the Web site) are sharing of photos with other Shogo owners, an integrated battery, music playback, auto rotate to show pictures in portrait or landscape mode and 1GB of internal memory. The Shogo is expected this spring.
