IPEVO PoVIPEVO, a developer of Internet devices, is using CES to show off its new PoV Web camera, which “lets users share their Point of View during Instant Messaging, chat sessions, and other Internet communication applications.” No specific pricing has been given for this product.

IPEVO says the PoV is unique in that one can detach it and capture images and video from any angle and vantage point. This Web cam is compatible with most IM applications and includes an integrated microphone for audio. It is USB 2.0 compliant and will only work with Windows.

Other features of the PoV include VGA resolution, a base for it to rest in, a maximum frame rate of 30fps and digital zoom. It is one of several products IPEVO is launching.
